Denys Gobov
Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.
He has been working in the field of system and business analysis for more than 20 years.
From 1997 to 2003, he studied at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, “Automated Information Processing and Management Systems”. He received a master’s degree in computer science with honors.
He studied at the graduate school of the V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Ukraine.
In 2010, he was awarded the scientific degree of candidate of technical sciences in the specialty “Mathematical modeling and computational methods”.
He is the Vice President for professional development of the Ukrainian branch of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). Has the following certificates:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®, IIBA®)
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA®)
- Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering – FL (CPRE®, IREB)
Denys won the Ukrainian IT Awards competition in the Professional in Business Analysis category in 2013 and 2016.
The field of scientific interest is requirements engineering and business analysis in IT projects.
Teaches the discipline “Business analysis in IT”.
Author of more than 26 scientific and educational/methodological works.
