The educational and professional programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, using state-of-the-art tools and methodologies. It integrates physics, mathematics, computer science, and engineering, enabling graduates to work effectively at the intersection of different fields of knowledge.
The programme was designed following the example of leading universities worldwide and is based on an interdisciplinary approach that combines physics, mathematics, computer science, and software engineering.
We use innovative teaching approaches, with strong emphasis on the practical implementation of quantum algorithms. Practical training includes working with real quantum processors. Under an arrangement with AWS Academy, our students use Amazon Braket resources: superconducting qubit devices from IQM and Rigetti, as well as ion-trap devices from IonQ. Proposals have also been prepared for cooperation with IBM, Azure, D-Wave, and other cloud platforms that provide access to quantum hardware.
Programme Structure
Duration: 1.5 years (3 semesters).
Language of instruction: Ukrainian (primary sources in English).
Professional Training Cycle:
- Algorithmic Support for Quantum Computing and a Course Project (Shor’s algorithm, Grover’s algorithm, the quantum Fourier transform, and basic and advanced optimisation problems);
- Theory of Quantum Information and Computing (superposition, entanglement, quantum gates, quantum phenomena, etc.);
- Quantum Computing Software (Amazon Braket, Qiskit, PennyLane, and programming quantum systems in Python, Java, Q#, etc.);
- Quantum Machine Learning (solving applied problems in logistics, finance, and medicine);
- Research Work Related to the Master’s Thesis;
- Preparation of the Master’s Thesis;
- Software Engineering Methodology;
- Industry Internship and Practical Training.
General Training Cycle:
- Innovation Management and Intellectual Property in IT;
- Sustainable Innovation Development;
- Practical Foreign Language Course for Business Communication.

- fundamentals of quantum mechanics and computing, including an understanding of superposition, entanglement, and quantum phenomena;
